The 74 th US National Peruvian Horse Show
The 74 th US National Peruvian Horse Show is officially announced by the USPHA in a statement by President Raul del Solar.
I am really happy to announce to everyone that USPHA is hosting the 74th
US National Peruvian Horse Show to take place on September 27 and 28,
2008, at the Nacogdoches County Expo Center in Nacogdoches, Texas.
The town of Nacogdoches is very nice it is a college town with a lot of
restaurants and hotels and full services of shopping and everything for
horses and people. The facilities have a beautiful arena with good
footing and also an area of grass and woods with trails perfect for a
natural trail ride event too in addition to the arena classes and good
stalls with dirt flooring which is much better for horses than cement.
The show will be open to everyone and all PP horses no matter where they
are registered or where the people are members. USPHA will accept ads
and sponsorships from other organizations as long they are accurate. All
US National Champions and Champions of Champions from all US National
Shows may be entered directly into the Champion classes or choose to go
to qualify at the decision of the owners. Every horse entered in the
show will be provided with the opportunity to be registered with USPHA
(if not already) at no cost to the owner.
We are in the process of considering Judges and welcome suggestions as
to who people would like to see judge the show. USPHA board did make the
decision to have the show judged by US Judge(s) this year, in keeping
with the focus of the organization being the promotion and benefit of
the US Peruvian horses, and their breeders, owners, judges, trainers and
aficionados.
